Górnik Zabrze make contact over Zhasulan Amir as Anderlecht also track striker

Górnik Zabrze have reportedly made contact over a possible move for Zhasulan Amir, with the Polish club considering a formal offer for the 19-year-old Ordabasy attacker.

Kazakh outlet AmanVibe reports that Górnik have already been in touch regarding a potential transfer and are closely following Amir’s development. No formal bid has been made at this stage.

Górnik currently sit at the top end of the Polish Ekstraklasa and have emerged as the latest European club to show concrete interest in the Kazakhstan international.

The same report says Anderlecht are also closely monitoring Amir, although no contact or offer from the Belgian club has been reported.

Polish outlet Transfery.info has since picked up the story, citing Eldar Amanbajew as the source. It reports that Amir has recorded eight goals and seven assists in the 2026 Kazakhstan Premier League season while continuing to feature across several attacking roles for Ordabasy.

The latest interest adds to an already active year around Amir. Earlier in the summer, Zulte Waregem were reported to have had a €500,000 bid rejected, while interest from MLS was also reported during the transfer window.

SkyrScout profiled Amir in July, identifying the explosive, two-footed attacker as a player with the physical and technical qualities to make the step into a stronger European league.

For now, Górnik’s interest has reached the contact stage rather than a formal bid. But with another European club now actively exploring a move, Amir’s name looks set to remain part of the transfer conversation heading into the next window.
