FK Auda head coach Didier Zanetti delivered high praise for Eduards Daskevics following the 1–0 victory over Dinamo City in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round.
Daskevics played the full match despite continuing to manage physical discomfort and provided the assist for Barthelemy Diedhiou’s winning goal.
Zanetti described the Latvian international as a player who raises his level when the demands increase.
“He is a warrior,” the Auda coach said, also praising Daskevics’ ability to recover energy and calling his assist wonderful.
The performance continued an impressive European run for Daskevics, who has now made a direct contribution in three consecutive Conference League matches.
