Narek Hovhannisyan is set to leave BKMA Yerevan for Lechia Gdańsk.
Trójmiasto reported late on September 9 that the 20-year-old Armenian winger is due to arrive in Gdańsk on September 10 and join the Polish club immediately. Lechia.net subsequently reported the same move, citing Trójmiasto.
At the time of writing, Lechia have not yet published an official announcement.
Arriving in strong form
Hovhannisyan comes into the move after an excellent weekend for BKMA.
He scored both goals in their 2-1 Armenian Premier League win over Urartu on September 6, opening the scoring in the first half before striking again in the 68th minute to secure the victory.
The timing adds further interest to a move that had not been widely reported beforehand.
A player SkyrScout expected to move
SkyrScout profiled Hovhannisyan at BKMA on February 28, 2026.
The report highlighted a quick and technical LW with strong 1v1 dribbling, intelligent movement in behind, set-piece quality and an active defensive contribution. It also noted that foreign interest had already emerged and described a summer 2026 transfer as realistic.
That move now appears set to take him to Poland.
