Dinamo Zagreb have told Fran Topić that he can look for a new club in the closing stages of the summer transfer window.
Germanijak reports that the 22-year-old winger was informed of the decision shortly before Dinamo’s 2-2 draw away to Istra 1961 on Saturday.
The news reportedly came as something of a surprise to Topić, particularly with only days remaining before the transfer window closes in many European leagues.
Dinamo have been open to selling him for some time and reportedly believe a transfer could bring in around €2 million.
Despite being given permission to seek a move, Topić still featured against Istra, coming off the bench in the 62nd minute and playing the final half hour.
His situation has changed quickly after being involved regularly during the opening weeks of the season, but Dinamo are now prepared to sanction a permanent departure if the right move can be found.
SkyrScout profiled Topić in January 2025 during his loan spell with HŠK Zrinjski Mostar, before he returned to Dinamo Zagreb.
With the Croatian club now actively opening the door for a transfer, the final days of the window could determine the next step in his career.
