The 2006-born Nigerian winger has established himself at BFC Daugavpils in Latvia. Yakubu combines explosive acceleration and direct running with technical quality and a willingness to contribute defensively.
His ability to beat opponents, attack space and provide end product makes him an interesting profile for clubs looking beyond the most obvious markets.

Mamadou Sylla
The 2005-born Ivorian attacker has already made a strong impression in Latvia, first with BFC Daugavpils and now with FC RFS.
Sylla offers a powerful combination of close control, acceleration, progressive carrying and creativity. At 186 cm, he also brings physical qualities that complement his technical ability, while contributing both offensively and defensively.

Both players are still very young, but their experience in Latvia means they are already accustomed to conditions that should make a future move within Scandinavia or Northern Europe significantly easier.
For clubs willing to scout beyond the most heavily covered markets, both Yakubu and Sylla represent highly interesting profiles to follow.
