Slavia Prague are continuing to track Rafał Adamski after Legia Warszawa rejected a reported €2 million offer for the striker.
Meczyki reports that the Czech champions, who are competing in the Champions League, have not dropped their interest. Slavia representatives were recently in the stands to watch Adamski against Radomiak Radom, and the 24-year-old responded by scoring in front of them.
There has not yet been a new offer, but Slavia’s continued live scouting suggests the story is far from over.
From €40,000 to a rejected €2 million bid
The numbers make Adamski’s rise particularly striking.
Legia signed him from Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki in February 2026 for a reported fee of around €40,000. Only six months later, they were in a position to reject approximately €2 million from Slavia.
That is around 50 times what Legia reportedly paid.
Legia sporting director Fredi Bobić had already confirmed in July that the club had rejected a seven-figure foreign offer for Adamski, without naming the bidder. Meczyki later reported that the club was Slavia Prague and placed the offer at €2 million.
Adamski is under contract with Legia until the end of the 2028/29 season, leaving the Warsaw club in a strong negotiating position.
The bargain was visible before the move
When Legia signed Adamski, he was coming off an outstanding first half of the season in Poland’s second tier.
The club’s own announcement noted 11 goals and 10 assists for Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki, while his unusual combination of a 195 cm frame, mobility and technical quality had already made him stand out well beyond the level he was playing at.
SkyrScout profiled Adamski on November 13, 2025, when he was still at Pogoń.
Our report described him as a powerful No.9 with pace, intelligent movement, strong hold-up play and surprisingly refined technique for his size. At the time he had 9 goals and 6 assists in 15 matches.
The transfer outlook was clear: Adamski looked ready for a step up, with a top-15 European league considered realistic and a top-10 league not out of reach with further development.

Man of the Pod
Adamski was also our Man of the Pod in the Scout of This World episode “Spitzgefühl” in December 2025.
The episode presented him among our Top 3 recommended strikers and described the 195 cm forward as a late bloomer who had truly exploded in Poland’s second tier.
We ended the segment by suggesting that there could soon be a fight for his signature.
Two months later Legia picked him up for around €40,000.
Six months after that, a Champions League club reportedly put €2 million on the table and Legia said no.
Slavia are still watching
Adamski adapted quickly after moving to Warsaw.
He scored on his Legia debut against Wisła Płock and was named in the Ekstraklasa Team of the Week. Meczyki reports that he finished the second half of last season with four goals and two assists in 13 appearances, before adding two more goals in his first three matches of the new campaign.
Now Slavia are watching closely enough to send representatives to his matches.
There is no new bid on the table yet, and Legia have already shown that €2 million is not enough.
But for a player who was still in Poland’s second tier less than seven months ago, the speed of the rise is remarkable.
From a roughly €40,000 bargain to a rejected €2 million offer from a Champions League club, Rafał Adamski has become one of the clearest examples yet of how quickly the right player can outgrow his original price tag.
