Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos has earned a first-team contract with Real Salt Lake after impressing for Real Monarchs in MLS NEXT Pro.
The Brazilian-born attacker has signed through the 2027 Sprint Season, with Real Salt Lake holding club options for the following two MLS campaigns.
Rodrigues was selected by RSL in the first round of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft after his college career at Marshall University. Since joining Real Monarchs, he has recorded seven goals and two assists in 19 MLS NEXT Pro appearances.
He has already made three appearances for Real Salt Lake’s first team in 2026. Rodrigues made his MLS debut as a substitute against Minnesota United in May, later started away to St. Louis CITY SC and also featured in RSL’s 4-0 Leagues Cup victory over Atlante.
The new contract now formally promotes the 24-year-old into the MLS first-team setup after his progression through the Monarchs.
