Rosenborg’s sporting leadership has publicly described the exact transfer-market challenge SkyrScout was built to address.
Speaking to Adresseavisen about the club’s summer recruitment, sporting director Alfreð Finnbogason pointed to the sharp rise in prices for Scandinavian players — particularly in Norway and the OBOS-ligaen. With established options becoming increasingly expensive, Rosenborg must identify players earlier and build stronger expertise in alternative markets.
Finnbogason told Adresseavisen:
“There are other markets than the Scandinavian one that are still cheaper. We also want to explore those and become good at them. Because we will never become exceptionally good everywhere, we must try to find some markets where we can be strong.”
