Tristan Pajo (2005)

This player profile is based on video scouting by Scout Pilgrim. A full written scouting report is not currently available.

Tristan Pajo is a 19-year-old Estonian attacking midfielder, soon to turn 20, playing for Pärnu JK Vaprus on loan from FC Flora Tallinn. Small in stature at 165 cm, he is very much a playmaker with a capital P.

Technically gifted and confident on the ball, Pajo combines strong dribbling ability with excellent vision and a varied passing range. He likes to dictate play, finds pockets between the lines and consistently contributes goals and assists from midfield.

As the title of the original video suggests, there are elements of Edvard Tagseth in the way he plays, although Pajo is a much more attacking version of that profile. He takes greater responsibility in the final third and is more focused on chance creation and end product.

His right foot is particularly dangerous from set pieces, and he is also active and effective in the press. Despite his size, he wins a fair share of ground duels and is willing to compete physically.

Areas for improvement

Pajo needs to build greater physical strength. While he wins his share of ground duels, there is still room to improve his defensive timing and positioning.

His biggest area of potential development, however, lies in his finishing from open play. Improving the consistency of his finishing would add another dimension to an already productive attacking profile.

He is an exciting prospect and one of the leading figures in Estonia’s golden generation of talents.
