Promise Victor Eghomwanre (2006)

This player profile is based on video scouting by Scout Pilgrim. A full written scouting report is not currently available.

Promise Victor Eghomwanre is a 19-year-old winger from Nigeria. His height is reported inconsistently, with some sources listing him at 178 cm, but he is most likely somewhere in the 175–180 cm range.

A fast and technically gifted wide player with excellent dribbling ability and strong balance. He combines pace and power, carries the ball effectively through tight spaces and can beat defenders one-on-one. Naturally versatile, he is comfortable on either flank, can operate in midfield and has even been deployed as a centre-forward when needed.

Eghomwanre is genuinely two-footed, delivering accurate crosses and dangerous shots with either foot. He makes intelligent runs in behind the defence, reads the game well and shows good anticipation when pressing and intercepting passes. He also displays a high work rate and commitment off the ball.

Areas for improvement

His passing accuracy and consistency in ground duels can be refined. He also needs to improve his finishing and provide more end product in terms of goals and assists. As a young player, he is still developing his composure and decision-making in both attacking and defensive phases.

Career trajectory and current form

Currently listed among our “bubble players” — talents on the verge of breaking through — we believe he could blossom next season. Initially signed by FS Jelgava and playing regularly at the start of the season, he joined BFC Daugavpils on loan in July 2025.

Sparta Prague had shown interest prior to his move to Latvia, which underlines the potential others have already seen in him.
