Muhammed Suso (2005)

This player profile is based on video scouting by Scout Pilgrim. A full written scouting report is not currently available.

Muhammed Suso is a 19-year-old Gambian winger, soon to turn 20, who is capable of playing on both flanks. He is primarily left-footed, but shows nearly equal proficiency with his right, giving him strong two-footed ability and making him difficult to read in one-on-one situations.

Suso combines excellent dribbling ability with good pace and strength. He is confident carrying the ball at defenders and has the physical power to protect possession and continue through contact.

His passing ability and vision are also major strengths. He sees opportunities early, can combine well in tight areas and has the quality to create chances from either wing.

Although only 180 cm tall, Suso competes well in the air and is also effective in defensive ground duels. His willingness and ability to contribute without the ball add to an already well-rounded winger profile.

He is approximately equally effective on the right and left, with his strong use of both feet allowing him to both attack the outside and move inside without becoming predictable.

Areas for improvement

The clearest area for improvement is his finishing. Adding more consistent end product in front of goal would elevate him from a dangerous winger into a much more complete attacking threat.
