A compact, powerfully built striker standing 181 cm tall — a complete power package, built like a small ox. Peprah thrives in physical duels, offering excellent hold-up play and tremendous shot power with both feet. His finishing is strong and decisive, and while his ball control is solid rather than silky, he consistently creates shooting opportunities through strength and positioning.

Aerially, he is more than capable in duels, but his standout trait is the force he generates on headers toward goal — reminiscent at times of Jürgen Klinsmann in his prime. Though not the quickest striker, he compensates with well-timed runs in behind and smart anticipation inside the box.

Career trajectory and current form

Peprah was once considered one of South Africa’s most promising forwards during his time with Orlando Pirates, scoring 7 goals in his debut season. He was nominated for the league’s Young Player of the Season award and was named Pirates’ Player of the Season for 2021/22. His career stalled somewhat afterwards with uneven spells in South Africa and India.

In July 2025, he signed for Svay Rieng in Cambodia — and immediately rediscovered his form. Peprah has been on fire with 10 goals and 5 assists in 10 league matches. While the Cambodian league sits just 22nd in AFC’s ranking and lacks depth beyond Svay Rieng, his performances in continental competitions have been equally impressive: 4 goals and 2 assists in 6 matches across the AFC Challenge Cup and ASEAN Club Championship.

Transfer outlook

Peprah’s contract with Svay Rieng runs until June 2026. Given his resurgence, physical profile, and proven scoring form, he appears well-suited for Scandinavian football. At this stage, a move to the Norwegian second tier (OBOS-ligaen) or a comparable European league would be an appropriate and realistic next step — offering both a higher level and a style of play that fits his strengths.
