Kjartan Kári Halldórsson is a 22-year-old Icelandic left winger, 165 cm tall, whose low centre of gravity and agility make him extremely difficult to defend against.

A dazzling dribbler with excellent pace, agility, and balance. Shifts direction effortlessly, leaving defenders chasing shadows. His right foot is a real weapon on set pieces, consistently creating chaos in opposing defences, while his left delivers pinpoint crosses. His right-footed shots carry immense power, and he makes intelligent runs in behind. Surprisingly strong in ground duels and defensively diligent.

Areas for improvement

His short-passing accuracy, rather than his crossing, needs refinement. At higher levels, composure is key, and missing two consecutive penalties highlights the need to stay calm under pressure.

Career trajectory and current form

Halldórsson joined Haugesund in the Norwegian Eliteserien in late 2022 but struggled to settle, returning on loan to FH Hafnarfjörður in Iceland. After using the 2023 season to adapt, he delivered an excellent 2024 campaign and has been electric in the 2025 Besta deild. With his current form, we believe he is ready for another move abroad, and this time he looks well-prepared to make a real impact in the Norwegian Eliteserien.
