A tall, strong, and athletic wide playmaker with a well-rounded attacking skill set. Katuša combines good pace with outstanding dribbling ability, allowing him to beat defenders both in isolation and at speed. He shows excellent vision and a high-quality passing game, particularly with his right foot, and delivers dangerous, accurate crosses from wide areas.

While right-foot dominant, he is comfortable using his left foot for precise deliveries, adding unpredictability to his game. His right foot also carries threat from distance, capable of producing powerful shots outside the box. Defensively, he contributes well, winning a high number of ground duels and showing good work rate without the ball.

Areas for improvement

Given his physical profile, there is scope for Katuša to impose himself more consistently in aerial duels, both offensively and defensively.

Career trajectory and current form

Katuša began his senior career with HNK Zadar in Croatia’s second tier in 2019 before moving to Slovenia, where he featured for several clubs at second-division level. His performances earned him a move to NK Aluminij Kidričevo and promotion to the Slovenian top flight in 2023, though his stay at that level was short-lived.

Subsequent spells in Slovenia’s second tier and Romania’s Liga 2 proved frustrating, but a move to Balestier Khalsa in the Singapore Premier League in August 2025 has reignited his career. Since arriving, he has been one of the league’s standout performers, delivering decisive contributions in both league and cup competitions.

Transfer outlook

While the Singapore Premier League (AFC rank: 15) is not among Asia’s strongest competitions, Katuša appears to have rediscovered form and confidence. With his contract expiring on 30 June 2026, he should be on the radar of European clubs in UEFA top-20 leagues seeking a physically strong, technically gifted winger entering his prime.
