Håkon Vold Krohg is a technically gifted central midfielder who looks most natural in a No. 8 role.
He is comfortable on the ball and shows a varied technical repertoire, using flicks, feints and small touches to work his way through situations. Krohg is listed as genuinely two-footed, which is also reflected in his passing and shooting, and gives him plenty of options when receiving possession.
He combines well with teammates, plays quick one-twos and is willing to continue his movement after releasing the ball. He can also carry possession forward at speed and has a good passing foot when looking to release teammates ahead of him.
