Currently on loan at Atlético Ottawa from Atlético de San Luis, Rodríguez is a technically gifted and versatile player capable of operating both as an attacking midfielder and as a wide playmaker from the right. He is arguably the most complete creative midfielder in the Canadian Premier League.
Rodríguez combines flair with efficiency. An excellent dribbler with close control and strong ball-carrying ability at pace, his agility makes him elusive in one-on-one situations.
His dominant left foot consistently produces quality deliveries and poses a threat from set pieces. Although clearly left-footed, he also has a reliable right foot and has demonstrated that he can finish effectively with it.
His vision and passing range are top-class by Canadian Premier League standards. Rodríguez consistently identifies pockets of space and plays incisive passes through compact defensive shapes.
